Ok my first thing on my list of things to do is finish the town map that i have made up, I have a rough sketch but i need to finalize it. Also I need to come up with some last names for my characters. While im thinking of characters I don't know if I should add more characters or just leave it with these two main characters.
As for the story itself I'm not sure if I'm ready to begin writing the actual beginning of the story, I still feel I don't have enough information to work with. So im looking to you to figure out whats next.

A Few Good Notes
These are some notes about the history of Ashen Point that i wrote in school:
-The town was a popular tourist attraction due to its rich history of paranormal activity
-A small group of cultists came here a few mouths before the Sickness occurred, those who survived to this day blame these cultists for the death of their town and the opening of the Shadow Portal, which isolated the town from the rest of the world
-The survivors of the Sickness came to call themselves The Missing Ones
-The cultists created a hoard of Demons and monsters called The Unknown, these beasts eventually turned on the cultists and killed them all and took over the town, pushing the survivors into the forest in the northeast corner of the town
-The paranormal activity brought about what the town called "The Spirit of Ashen Point" which eventually called upon people from the outside world to come to the dimension this world in in. Kevin is chosen now.
-The Anti-Spirit wanders the town in search of sacrifices (More on this one later)
-The leader of The Unknown is the Demon for of the Kevin's biological father, and sits on top of the Disappearing Tower on Katz Street (More on this later, map of town coming soon)
-The sickness started in the Samuel Johnson Memorial Hospital
-First indication of the Sickness was observed when the animals at the Zoo were going crazy and spontaneously dropping dead in their tracks with no indication of what killed them, the animals were perfectly healthy at time of death
-The Anti-Spirit is also the executioner at the "Demon Prison" where captured survivors are sent and tortured
-To the rest of the world, Ashen Point is simply a ruined town that was destroyed by freak fires, which caused the subways and sewer systems to collapse, making this town completely uninhabitable
-The Sickness causes those who are infected to become mindless creatures who attack anything that looks appetizing (especially humans). There is no known cure (except killing them). These creatures became known by survivors as The Afflicted
-The town is centered in an entirely different dimension, caused by the Shadow Portal, thus creating two towns
The Anti-Spirit
-The Anti-Spirit is the most feared being of all the summoned Demons that wander the town
-It carries a giant axe
-Its appearance is that of a hooded man wearing the bottom of a robe, his face is covered by bandages
-Before it took its humanoid form it was the most hideous and intimidating creature
-It is the executioner of the Demon Prison located in the center of Sunate Lake
The Disappearing Tower
-Built around the Shadow Portal, it serves as the capital of all Demons
-This tower only appears when the Shadow is about to fall on the town, and the powerful Demons and monsters awaken. This Shadow comes and goes at random intervals
-The Demon Lord sits atop this Tower, which we find later in the story is the main character's father in his demon form
-Inside the tower is long narrow hallways and stairs that all meet at the High Seat in the Main Chamber

-It is a darkness that falls upon the town, it signifies the awakening of the powerful Demons and monsters in the town (The weaker ones and hunters wander at all times)

New Stuff
Ok so I've decided the first part of the story I'm going to work on is the crash scene when kevin foster parents are killed and he is sucked into the dimension of Ashen Point (with the assistance of my Liz). First I think that the first problem they encounter is static on their car radio before the crash happens which brings me to a new problem: what is causing the static and should is be the cause of the crash as well.

One idea i had was that a ghost appears in the blink of an eye and causes whoever is driving to swerve out of the way and smash into a telephone pole

i thought that whoever is driving hears this static and while fumbling with the radio to stop the noise they run off the road and into something

Names and What's missing...
Ok so I took a short "break" (or a block who knows...) but anyway I'm back and I've come up with a few different names for my main character:

I'm not bothering with a last name for now because frankly i just don't think it's important yet. I'm hoping to get the beginning of the story done soon but i still have too many things to think about and organize. I've also thought that i should draw some kind of map for this town or else I'll probably get confused about where everything is...
So next up is a map!

Ok so I'm at school and I'm trying to think of a good name for the main character and I just can't think of a good name....
I also need work on what very well may be my favorite part of my story. The part when he encounters his parents. It is going to be loosely based off of the pink floyd song "Welcome to the Machine." I'm thinking of making him wander though the town (which I've decided it going to be called Ashen Point), and he encounters the only place in the town that looks intact. He enters and it is a weird looking "machine shop," and there is steam coming from all over the place, and he's walking down a long hallway with wall covered with pipes and machinery. As he walks through, he hears the voice of his father. He enter a huge room with a chair in the middle. He doesn't realise it but in that chair is sitting his father's spirit. That is really all i can think of for that scene hopefully it'll come out right. I can picture it but it's kinda hard to write it out...

Ok Let's Begin
Well this is new to me but I'll give it my best. This is a story that I've had in the back of my head for a while now, constantly changing now i need to write it out before i forget. The basis of the story is that this kid (need a name) begins to talk in his sleep. he lives in a foster home when it all started. He was adopted just before he turned 15, and the foster parents were told about this unusual activity but its thought to be nothing. But when the sleep talking turned to sleep walking his foster parents began to worry. I haven't decided but i want to have him dreaming and speaking of his biological parents. If i do that then I'll have his parents live in a town that I could say no road leads to, no satellite can see or something like that. If you've seen the Silent Hill movie or played the games you'll probably figure out where this is going.
If i do have him talking of his parents, his foster parents will want to take him to his biological parents, perhaps either ending his nighttime disturbances or finding out why he sleep talks and that kind of stuff. Im hoping to find some kind of town name that could be passable as a creepy town name it doesn't have to be real. I think on their journey the kid should randomly begin hearing voices in his head as they begin to get closer to the town his biological parents supposedly live.
The voices torment him into running off away from his foster parents when they stop at a motel one night. He keeps running until he sees a sign "Welcome to (need that creepy town name here)." As he enters he feels strange, but upon passing the sign he blacks out. He wakes up later in what can only be described as a factory from long ago. I'm lost from here i haven't really thought past here...input? output? throughput?
