One idea i had was that a ghost appears in the blink of an eye and causes whoever is driving to swerve out of the way and smash into a telephone pole
or
i thought that whoever is driving hears this static and while fumbling with the radio to stop the noise they run off the road and into something

First of all, I'm honored. ("my Liz", Your so cute! lol) Um, prehaps the static should be the resualt of them slipping into the other demension? You know, like it's their first clue that somethings amiss. lol

And I have a question. Does everyone see the ghost, or just Kevin?
I was also just pondering Silent Hill. In the second one, the say you have to be guilt of something terrible or you wouldn't be in Silent Hill, being hunted down by Pyramid Head. And I thought that might be something interesting to think about adding to your story. Cause Kevin has amnesia, right? What if he got amnesia as a resualt of him doing or living through something horrible. You know, just to give him alittle bit of a past, another way to explain why he's stuck in Ashen Point. But it's just a thought. lol

Ok so you're right i should make a profile for Kevin. That was my idea for the static that it was the indication that he entered the town's dimension. I haven't decided why exactly he was picked for coming to the town but I do like that idea, i like the amnesia idea. I think i like the first crash idea also so I'll use it thanks!
